Summary

We are recruiting for a Financial Analyst who will support the Commercial Team, playing a crucial role in financial planning and analysis to drive strategic decision-making within the commercial functions of the organization. The ideal candidate will have a strong analytical mindset, excellent communication skills, and a keen understanding of business operations.

Principal and Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Major Requests:

Ad hoc P&Ls, sales reporting, product cost reporting requests from sales, marketing, or trade.
New product development costing and P&Ls.
Preparation of other reports as requested.

Performance Reporting:

Generate and distribute regular financial performance reports to key stakeholders within the Commercial Team.
Present financial results and insights in a clear and concise manner to facilitate decision-making processes.

Financial Modeling:

Develop and maintain financial models to analyze various business scenarios and assess their impact on financial performance.
Assist in evaluating the financial feasibility of new business initiatives and projects.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

Collaborate with other departments, including Sales, Marketing, and Operations, to gather relevant information and ensure alignment of financial plans with overall business objectives.

Minimum Education and Experience

Required: Bachelor’s degree in finance/accounting. 3-5 years of relevant experience, Food Products or Consumer Packaged Goods Experience a plus.

Experience Preferred

5 years prior financial experience, preferably in the Food Products (poultry / protein) or Consumer Packaged Goods industry. MBA and CMA preferred.

Environmental Factors and Physical Requirements

Position is mostly sedentary but may require occasional moving to other offices or buildings.
May need to move light equipment or supplies from one place to another.
May need to access files, supplies and equipment.
Work activity is primarily in an office, open-partitioned, cubicle environment.
