Summary

The Director of Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) will support Perdue AgriBusiness' Animal Nutrition & Soy Crush business units and will be a key leader within the FP&A organization.  The Director of FP&A will maintain a leadership position in transforming the Finance organization at Perdue AgriBusiness while partnering with and supporting the senior leadership team in transforming and enhancing results for PAB, including enhancing ROIC.  Key responsibilities will include planning, forecasting, modeling, business analysis, decision support, and establishing and reporting on performance, key metrics, and strategic initiatives.

Principal and Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Establish flexible, accurate and insightful business modeling techniques to support business analysis and enhance decision making processes including key areas such as capital project spending and benefit analysis/tracking, ROIC, business initiatives, evaluation of alternatives, acquisition support, etc.
  • Preparation and analysis of Business Unit annual plans, forecasts and 5-year Strategic Plans and assistance in creating Business Unit goals, strategies and tactics to achieve Corporate targets/requirements.
  • Development of tools and techniques to provide business analytical support including trend and dash board reporting, variance analysis, KPI and initiative tracking and reporting to facilitate data driven decision making and accountability.
  • Preparation of high level reporting to include: Results Meeting, Senior Management and Board.
  • Ad hoc project/business support as requested by management.

 

Minimum Education

  • Bachelor Degree in Finance, Accounting or Economic/Ag Economics, OR related degree.

Experience Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience, preferably within various Finance or Accounting functions, including at least 5 years in Financial Planning & Analysis.

Environmental Factors and Physical Requirements

The position is mostly sedentary but may require occasional moving to other offices or buildings. May need to move light equipment or supplies from one place to another.  May need to access files, supplies, and equipment.  Work activity is in an office, open-partitioned, cubicle environment.
