Summary

We are recruiting for a Sr Systems Analyst to install and maintain SAP Systems and Oracle Databases that meet business requirements using cost effective technologies that provide a reliable, scalable, and sustainable foundation for business applications and services.

Principal and Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Ensure that all SAP Systems and Oracle databases support business strategies, goals, and objectives.
Monitor the use of SAP Systems and Oracle databases related services and systems and perform capacity planning that will support business strategies and goals.
Ensure backup and disaster recovery plans are implemented and regularly tested for all production SAP Systems and Oracle databases.
Function effectively as part of a team consisting of IT personnel, user department personnel, selected outside vendors, and customers.
Create and maintain accurate documentation for all systems and projects supported by ERP Technical Solution team.
Deliver projects on time and within budget that meet or exceed original requirements.

Minimum Education And Experience Required

REQUIRED: Four-year college degree, preferably with studies in Information Systems or Computer Science OR equivalent work experience.

10 years of I/T experience in similar or larger organization. Technical expertise requirements are the following:
Minimum 5 years of experience working SAP Basis role including installs and maintaining SAP systems.
Prefer 1 year performing installs and maintaining an SAP S4 HANA system.
Minimum 5 years of Oracle DBA experience performing including installs and maintenance.
Minimum 5 years of experience in SAP and Oracle performance tuning.
Minimum 5 years backing up and recovering Oracle Databases.
Minimum 2 years working with Linux, AIX, and Windows Operating systems.
Strong ‘root cause’ problem diagnosis and resolution skills.
Strong communication, knowledge transfer and documentation skills.

Environmental Factors and Physical Requirements

Work activity is in an office, open-partitioned, cubicle environment.

Position is mostly sedentary but may require occasional moving to other offices or buildings.
May need to move light equipment or supplies from one place to another.
May need to access files, supplies and equipment.
