Perdue Foods is looking for a highly motivated, forward-thinking Social Brand Manager who will be responsible for helping to drive cultural momentum across the portfolio of Perdue Foods’ and Farms brands by acting as the voice of these brands and fostering an engaged online community across Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest, YouTube and other relevant social media networks.

You will be tasked with bringing Perdue’s brands to life by maintaining a well-articulated brand persona which exemplifies Perdue’s beliefs, values and mission statements.  Through a cutting-edge understanding of best practices, features, strategies, and tactics, you will conceptualize and plan an approach for growing followers, engagement, revenue, traffic, and customer acquisition.  You will also develop and help create social media content with bloggers and influencers that are aligned with the brand and business goals.

Principal and Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Manage the brand voice, strategy, execution, and reporting for the social media accounts of Perdue Chicken and Perdue Farms
  • Manage strategy and execution of organic social media marketing in an effort to hit or surpass defined goals or KPIs
  • Manage the conversion-focused paid social media strategy for Perdue Farms ecommerce business by managing marketing funnels and testing dynamic campaigns
  • Execute and guide organic social media cadence for campaigns across multiple audiences
  • Work on initiatives that shift brand perception and support business goals
  • Communicate and engage with followers, respond to inquiries in a timely manner
  • Research social media trends to bring new ideas to the team and to inform management of changes that are relevant to the company's marketing activities
  • Prepare social reports to evaluate the success of organic social campaigns, present to stakeholders, and optimize strategy

Education and Experience Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business or similar field of study, and 3-5 years of related work experience.  Experience in lieu of a degree may be considered.

  • Experience in social media, influencers and public relations and as a community manager either for a consumer brand or at an agency.
  • Deep understanding of social channels, tactics and paid social media tactics.
  • Ability to challenge the status quo, champions change, and influences others to change.
  • Experience with social media content publishing tools such as Sprinklr, Percolate, Hootsuite, etc. with social media performance metrics including the analytics dashboards on Facebook, Twitter, etc.
  • Excellent writing skills required.
  • Comfortable with numbers and highly quantitative environment.
  • Experience with Excel, Power Point and Word
  • Proficient communication and interpersonal skills including written, verbal and listening skills.

Experience Preferred

  • Photoshop, photography and videography skills.
  • Experience producing video content optimized for social.
