Summary
Our Retail Sales team is growing! The Director of Broker Distribution, reporting to the Senior Vice President of Retail Sales, is responsible for overseeing and managing distribution strategy across various channels, primarily focusing on broker business relationships. Develop and implement a comprehensive distribution strategy that aligns with the company’s overall business objectives.
The salary range for this position is $145,000.00 - $215,000.00 per year, based on experience and qualifications with annual bonus available (variable depending on performance).

Principal and Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Developing and executing strategies to enhance market presence, drive profitable growth, and ensure effective communication between third-party brokers and the sales organization.
- Acting as the primary point of contact to establish, nurture, and maintain strong relationships with key brokers to maximize business opportunities.
- Monitoring sales performance across all broker channels, analyzing data to identify trends and areas for improvement and setting financial targets.
- Work closely with sales and marketing teams to ensure a cohesive approach to broker engagement by facilitating regular communication between internal stakeholders and external brokers to align goals and expectations.
- Driving the company’s growth through effective broker partnerships while ensuring that both organizational goals and client needs are met efficiently and are within compliance and regulatory requirements and company policies.
- Providing training programs for brokers on new products, services, and compliance requirements.
- Identifying emerging industry trends in retail execution and account management that could impact broker distribution strategies and inform product development and marketing strategies by utilizing insights from market analysis.
- Responsibility for building new distribution channels beyond traditional brokerage models to enhance reach and effectiveness.
Minimum Education and Experience Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in business or a related field plus 10+ years of extensive experience in sales and distribution management. Our ideal candidate will have/be:

- Proficiency in CRM systems like Salesforce
- Deep understanding of the food market dynamics
- Ability to drive growth through continuous improvement initiatives
- Ability to think and act strategically balancing short- and long-term issues
- Conduct market research and leverage data analytics
- Willingness to travel as needed for meetings with brokers or industry events (50-60% travel)
Environmental Factors and Physical Requirements
This position is remote based with travel approx. 50-60% of the time.
