Summary

This position will manage day-to-day business for Perdue Animal Nutrition.  The position will work closely with the Sales & Technical Team, formulation, operations regarding logistics / warehousing and manage customer service to provide superior cost position and service.  This position is also responsible for administration of sales and purchase contracts.  Additionally, this position will responsible for executing and managing the Supply Chain of delivery in, storage, and customer delivery.      

The salary range for this position is $97,000.00 - $145,000.00 per year, based on experience and qualifications with annual bonus available (variable depending on performance).

Principal and Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Train, mentor, and lead customer service representatives in AgTech: on operating systems, process flows, and situational problem-solving, with a focus on AgTech tools and procedures. Including covering contracts, load orders, ticket entry, inventory checks, and costing processes.
  • Act as primary liaison for escalated client issues, including invoicing disputes, inventory availability, and credit-related concerns.
  • Facilitate end-to-end process training, connecting Agtech functions to Credit, Shared Services, Accounts Payable, and Accounts Receivable.
  • Manage external logistics partnerships, including billing, accessorial/expedited fees, service priorities, and quarterly freight rate negotiations.
  • Oversee incident reporting and claims, ensuring traceability, system integrity, root cause analysis, and corrective action in collaboration with Operations and QA/QC teams.
  • Own and manage Power BI dashboards for Agtech for (AN), coordinating development, testing, and implementation with the BI team
  • Support credit operations and accounts receivable, including involvement in new account onboarding, credit reviews, AR investigations, and backup for collections.
  • Develop and manage reports and analysis tools related to freight, accessorial charges, sales support, incident reimbursements, and Salesforce process enhancements.

Minimum Education and Experience

Bachelors Degree in Agriculture, Business, Management or simliar, and a minimum of 10 years of related experience.

MBA is highly preferred.

Environmental Factors and Physical Requirements

Able to operate a motor vehicle and travel to and from customer locations.  Able to move freely about farms and other agricultural areas.  Exposed to external weather conditions to include rain, snow and extreme temperatures (-15 to 90 Degrees Fahrenheit), humidity, (0 - 100%), and noise (50db to 100db).  Able to use standard office equipment to include telephone, computers, copiers etc.  Able to lift up to 50 pounds.  Overnight travel required.
