Summary
We are recruiting for a Costing Manager to manage the Foods Product Costing Team through the maintenance and analysis of Standard Cost and Inventory Valuation.
This is an onsite role at our Salisbury, MD Corporate Offices.
The salary range for this position is $97,000 - $145,000 per year, based on experience and qualifications with annual bonus available (variable depending on performance).

Principal and Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Manage the support for both SAP and Harvest Costing systems through data maintenance and analysis including monthly updates of SAP Inventory values as requested.
- Manage Monthly Closing responsibilities include Balance Sheet Reconciliations for Finished Goods and Semi-Finished Goods Inventory, in addition to the preparation of Inventory revaluations due to distressed / aged inventory. Additional responsibilities include the execution the Weekly and Monthly Material Ledger processes in SAP.
- Manage the completion of routine daily, weekly, or monthly reports / reconciliations accurately and on time, which include Harvest Production Reporting and Inventory Change reports.
- Support Annual Op-plan process and Quarter Forecast Process relative to the establishment of updated Standard Costs by Product Code.
- Supervise three Professional Level Associates.
- Develops and provides ad hoc reporting and analysis as requested.
Minimum Education and Experience Required
REQUIRED:
Education: Bachelors Degree in Finance or Accounting
Experience: 8 - 10 years related work experience:
- Must have significant proficiency in Excel
- Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills
PREFERRED:
- CPA or CMA or MBA
- Experience in Consumer Packaged Goods or Foods Products Industry
- SAP ERP Experience
- Proven track record of managing and developing direct reports
Environmental Factors and Physical Requirements
1. Position is mostly sedentary but may require occasional moving to other offices or buildings.
2. May need to move light equipment or supplies from one place to another.
3. May need to access files, supplies and equipment.
4. Work activity is in an office, open-partitioned, cubicle environment.
