Summary
We are recruiting for a Senior Manager, Finance Projects who is responsible for leading and managing the (BPR) business process reengineering efforts for the finance team, including but not limited to multiple phases of our SAP S4 implementation. This individual will work closely with cross-functional teams to assess, redesign, and implement process improvements to streamline financial operations, enhance reporting, and optimize overall business performance. The role requires a strong understanding of financial processes, systems, and controls, along with a deep knowledge of process improvement methodologies.
This role is onsite at our Salisbury, MD Corporate Headquarters. Relocation is available for qualified candidates.
The salary range for this position is $111,000 - $167,000 per year, based on experience and qualifications with annual bonus available (variable depending on performance).

Principal and Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Business Process Analysis & Redesign:
- Lead the analysis and mapping of current financial processes (e.g., budgeting, financial, reporting, accounts payable/receivable, reconciliation).
- Identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and areas for improvement related to finance operations.
- Redesign processes to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, improve accuracy, and ensure compliance.
- Collaborate with finance teams and other departments to ensure process improvements align with business goals.
- Process Improvement Implementation:
- Work with IT and other functional teams to implement new financial systems, tools, or other technologies that support process improvements.
- Develop and manage process improvement projects, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets.
- Facilitate the adoption of new processes and systems by training and guiding finance staff.
- Stakeholder Management:
- Serve as the main point of contact for all BPR-related initiatives within the finance department.
- Communicate with senior leadership and key stakeholders to report progress on process reengineering projects.
- Provide regular updates and present findings or recommendations to leadership to drive decision-making.
- Data Analysis & Reporting:
- Ensure that financial reports are accurate, timely, and aligned with new process standards.
- Develop and track KPIs (Key Performance Indicators) to measure the effectiveness of reengineered processes.
- Compliance & Risk Management:
- Ensure that all redesigned finance processes adhere to regulatory requirements and internal controls, including SOX documented controls.
- Identify and mitigate risks associated with process changes or new systems implementations.
- Collaborate with internal audit teams to ensure compliance and manage potential risks.
Minimum Education and Experience Required
REQUIRED: BS/BA degree (Accounting or Finance) plus at least 7 years of experience.
- Ability to interpret financial data to drive decision-making.
- Strong knowledge of financial systems including SAP and other related systems.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to interact with senior leadership and cross-functional teams.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
PREFERRED: MBA, CPA or CMA a plus.
- Experience leading BPR projects in a finance department or related function.
- Experience in project management, with proven ability to lead and execute cross-functional projects.
Environmental Factors and Physical Requirements
- Position is mostly sedentary but may require occasional moving to other offices or buildings.
- May need to move light equipment or supplies from one place to another.
- May need to access files, supplies and equipment.
- Work activity is in an office, open-partitioned, cubicle environment.
