Summary
Join our team as a Shipping and Receiving Clerk! We’re looking for dedicated an individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is committed to upholding the highest standards of quality and safety. As a Shipping and Receiving Clerk, you'll provide support to the shipping / production departments through inventory control by using handheld scanners, counting inventory in the coolers, reconciling inventory discrepancies, using SAP / CFS programs, etc.

Principal and Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Monitor product going into cooler and out of cooler ensuring that the proper scans have been made to ensure inventory accuracy.
- Complete Daily physical inventory counts and compare to CFS inventory.
- Reconcile and inventory discrepancies found.
- Process transactions in SAP and CFS programs.
- Apply all of the principles and functions of inventory control and snapshot compliance.
- Process inbound and outbound shipments.
- Answers phones including fielding questions, re-directing calls and taking messages and/or orders.
- Maintains general company record systems to uphold accurate files.
- Handles emails, data entry, calendar, scheduling apps and printing.
- Perform other departmental duties as directed by management or lead person.
Minimum Education
- High School or equivalent
Experience Requirements
- Worked a minimum of 6 months of consecutive work history with one employer within the past 2 years.
- Knowledge of standard software applications, such as Microsoft Office.
- Possessing outstanding communication, collaboration, analytical, and interpersonal abilities.
- Capable of writing, reading, and resolving mathematical issues.
Experience Preferred
- Experience with operating an Electric Pallet Jack and an RF Scanner.
Previous manufacturing experience and /or experience with SAP and CFS are highly preferred.
Environmental Factors and Physical Requirements
- Position is mostly sedentary but may require occasional moving to other offices or buildings.
- May need to move light equipment or supplies from one place to another.
- May need to access files, supplies and equipment.
- Work activity is in an office, open-partitioned, cubicle environment.
- When in a plant environment:
- Exposure primarily consists of wet and moist floors which include metal and plastic grating surfaces.
- May be exposed to temperatures of 28 degrees to 100 degrees Fahrenheit with both ambient and 100% humidity.
- May handle product 25 degrees to 50 degrees Fahrenheit.
- May be exposed to noise ranges of 50 db to 110 db.
- May be exposed to all chemicals used in poultry, food, processing facility.
- Must wear and use protective and safety equipment required for the job as directed by the Company.
- Work may include lifting (up to 50 lbs), reaching, bending and pushing.
