Summary
Join our team as a Production Associate! We’re looking for dedicated individuals who thrive in a fast-paced environment and are committed to upholding the highest standards of quality and safety. As a Production Associate you’ll play a crucial role in various aspects of the distribution center. Working in the Weigh & Price cooler pulling racks, loading baskets, staging product and feeding conveyer belts lines. Operate powered industrial trucks to load and unload materials and deliveries and move them to and from storage areas, machines, loading docks and within facility locations.
Benefits
This position has a target wage of $20.05 - $20.55 per hour with negotiated increases. Eligible for shift premium of $1.25 per hour. Overtime may be available.

Principal and Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Work at various stations along the production line processing poultry food product
- Adhere to all safety rules including PPE, preventing and reporting unsafe acts and conditions, Lockout-Tagout procedures, and Process Safety Management related matters
- Operate machinery and equipment in accordance with safety protocols and standard operating procedures
- Inspect poultry products for quality and consistency
- Package and label finished products accurately and efficiently
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to uphold food safety standards
- Collaborate with team members to achieve production targets
Minimum Education
- High School or equivalent not required but preferred.
Experience Preferred
- Experience in protein processing/manufacturing preferred.
Environmental Factors and Physical Requirements
- Required to work in the cooler for the duration of the shift. Works entire shift while standing.
- Ability to make repetitive motion movements using arms, hands and wrists for an entire shift.
- Ability to lift, push and pull up to 50 lbs.
- Exposure primarily consists of dry concrete floors.
- Exposure to extreme temperatures as low as 28 Degrees Fehrenheit.
- May handle product 25-50 degrees Fahrenheit.
- Must wear and use protective and safety equipment required for the job as directed by the Company.
