Summary

Principal and Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Assist with egg handling and sorting.
- Clean and disinfect equipment, incubators, and facilities.
- Maintain accurate records of egg production, hatch rates, and check quality.
- Assist with and monitor various aspects related to quality control and documentation.
- Potential to utilize a combination of paper, tablet and PC for recording data.
- Count, sort chicks and chick boxes or assist with stacking and moving dollies.
- Comply with all trainings and SOP’s for production and safety, wearing correct PPE.
- Collaborate with other teams to ensure smooth operations.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Minimum Education
- High School or equivalent not required but beneficial.
Experience Preferred
- Experience in poultry processing/manufacturing environment.
Environmental Factors and Physical Requirements
- Exposed to temperatures ranging from 60 to 105 degrees Fahrenheit and humidities up to 100%.
- Exposed to chemicals and vaccines to be covered in MSDS training and hazardous communications.
- Use personal protective equipment as required.
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs safely using correct ergonomic technique.
- Must be able to work in a wet, damp, dusty (chick down) environment.
