Summary

Keep essential equipment operating safely and efficiently by restoring and maintaining the tools that support our production process. As an Equipment Repair Technician, you will use welding equipment and standard maintenance tools to inspect, repair, and reinforce egg carts to ensure they meet safety and performance standards. Your work will help maintain reliable equipment flow across operations while supporting the feed mill with maintenance needs when required. This role is ideal for a hands-on professional who enjoys working with tools, takes pride in quality craftsmanship, and is committed to keeping equipment operating safely and efficiently.

Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm

Principal Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Perform maintenance on egg carts and grease wheels.
  • Repair damaged egg carts by replacing parts and/or welding as needed.
  • Document daily egg cart repair activity, including the number of carts repaired.
  • Provide maintenance support to the feed mill should the occasion arise.

Minimum Education and Experience

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 1 Year of experience.
  • One year maintenance or vocational training in lieu of experience.

Physical Requirements and Environmental Factors

  • Exposed to all environmental conditions found throughout the facility and job functions.
  • Ability to move throughout the facility.
  • Must be able to bend, stoop and lift up to 100 lbs.
