Summary
This position is responsible toeffectivelyclean hatchers and hatcher rooms and replace filters so as to maintain a low to zero bacteria and mold level.
Compensation:
This position has a base rate of $16.49 per hour, with opportunities for pay premiums, shift differentials and overtime where applicable. Annual bonus available (variable depending on performance).

Principal and Essential Duties & Responsibilities
1.Must be able to use a broom to brush out chick down, work with chemicals to effectively wash and disinfect hatchers through hand scrubbing and using a foam machine following lockout/tagout program as specified by company policy.
2.Push clean disinfected racks from clean room back to the hatcher room approx. 100’.
3.Using a winched pit puller, clean the pit daily.
4.Remove and replace all filters in the hall after every hatch.
5.Any other duties assigned by management.
Minimum Education
High school or equivalent not required but beneficial.
Experience Requirements
Reading and writing skills preferred.
Experience Preferred
Experience in poultry processing/manufacturing environment preferred
Environmental Factors and Physical Requirements
1. Exposure primarily consists of wet and moist floors which include metal and plastic grating surfaces.
2. May be exposed to temperatures of 28 degrees to 100 degrees Fahrenheit with both ambient and 100% humidity.
3. May handle product 25 degrees to 50 degrees Fahrenheit.
4. May be exposed to noise ranges of 50 db to 110 db.
5. May be exposed to all chemicals used in poultry, food, processing facility.
6. May be exposed to dust, feathers and all chemicals used in poultry, food, processing facility.
