Summary
Join our team as an Associate Director of Operations and help lead high performing processing facilities that deliver strong results and consistent quality. In this role, you will guide plant operations to meet customer needs, drive performance, and support long term profitability, while developing and empowering leadership teams. You’ll play a key role in building a strong talent pipeline, promoting a culture of safety and accountability, and ensuring operational excellence across all levels of the organization.
The salary range for this position is $146,000- $220,000 per year, based on experience and qualifications with annual bonus available (variable depending on performance).

Principal Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Work with Operations management in establishing and measuring operating and capital budgets for the operation in a manner to enable the operation to maintain a competitive position in the industry.
- Lead and develop each plant processing area to ensure plant metrics are met.
- Work with all support departments to ensure each facet of the organization is working together for associate engagement and meet company goals.
- Provide feedback and guidance to the processing team in developing solutions for improving processes, maintaining processing environment, and innovative problem solving.
- Ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements and promote a community image of the Company as the preferred place to work.
- Ensure that product quality, service, and reliability meet or exceed our customers’ expectations.
Minimum Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent related work experience in Business or Ag-Business
- Minimum of 10 years of related work experience.
- Knowledge of budget development and administration, report analysis, USDA and employment law.
- Broad integrated knowledge of live production and plant operations.
- Ability to travel to remote facilities and/or offices for meetings up to 25% of the time.
- Must be willing to relocate, if applicable.
Preferred Education and Experience
- Poultry husbandry knowledge and strong mechanical aptitude a plus.
Physical Requirements and Environmental Factors
- Position is mostly sedentary but may require occasional moving to other offices or buildings.
When in a plant environment:
- Exposure primarily consists of wet and moist floors which include metal and plastic grating surfaces.
- May be exposed to temperatures of 28 degrees to 100 degrees Fahrenheit with both ambient and 100% humidity.
- May handle products from 25 degrees to 50 degrees Fahrenheit.
- May be exposed to noise ranges of 50 db. to 110 db.
- May be exposed to all chemicals used in poultry, food, and processing facility.
- Must wear and use protective and safety equipment required for the job as directed by the Company.
