Summary
Join our team as a Jockey Driver associate! We’re looking for dedicated individuals who thrive in a fast-paced environment and are committed to upholding the highest standards of quality and safety. As a Jockey Driver associate, you’ll play a crucial role in yard management by accurate and timely transfer of trailers to and from holding and processing areas.

- A: 6:00am - 6:00pm(Mon, Tues, Sun) 6:00am - 12:00pm (Wed)
- B: 6:00am - 6:00pm (Thurs-Sat) 12:00pm (Wed)
- Night Shift
- C: 6:00pm - 6:00am (Mon, Tues, Sun) 6:00pm - 12:00am (Wed)
- D: 6:00pm - 6:00am (Thurs-Sat) 12:00am – 6:00am (Wed)

Principal and Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Operates jockey truck transferring trailers to and from the processing area. The task requires maneuvering in and out of the vehicle up to a height of 4 feet every 1/2 hour.
- Ensures that trailers are processed in the order designated by management.
- Ensures that YMS (Yard Management System) is updated and policy followed. Keeping the yard organized and in order.
- Performs pre-op inspection of vehicle and post-op cleaning on a daily basis.
- Yard checks are done periodically. Communicates with the gate, the dock office and management.
Minimum Education
High School or equivalent preferred but not required.
Experience Requirements
Reading and writing skills required.
At least 1 year of continuous work experience in similar role using similar equipment
Must have a valid Class D drivers license.
Must obtain and maintain powered industrial truck license through company training
Experience Preferred
2+ years’ experience in a distribution warehouse preferred.
Valid CDL License
Environmental Factors and Physical Requirements
Ability to Work outdoors year round in seasonal temperatures
May be exposed to noise ranges up to 96.2 db
May be exposed to light intensity of less than 5' candles.
When in a plant environment:
Ability to tolerate exposure to wet and moist floors which include metal and plastic grating surfaces.
Ability to stand for an extended period and perform repetitive tasks.
Ability to lift and move objects weighing up to 50 lbs by reaching, bending, and pushing boxes.
Ability to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) such as gloves, safety glasses, and ear protection as required.
May work in an environment with varying temperatures between 25 degrees and 100 degrees Fahrenheit.
May handle product varying in temperatures between 25 to 50 degrees Fahrenheit.
May be exposed to noise ranges of 50 db to 110 db.
Occasional exposure to carbon dioxide vapors 10ppm and chlorine less than 20 ppm.
