Summary
Our Corporate Finance team is growing! We are looking for Analytics Systems Development Manager skilled in data modeling for Analytics and familiar with Financial reporting. This position develops, enhances, and supports efforts related to business reporting and analytics. This role will lead the migration of the Perdue financial analytical platform from SAP BW & Oracle Essbase to Snowflake, Dataiku, and PowerBI. This position will play a lead technical role on the FP&A Financial Systems team to build data models, including data sources, transformations, and integrations, in the Perdue analytics toolset.
The salary range for this position is $170,206 - 171,206 per year, based on experience and qualifications with annual bonus available (variable depending on performance).

Principal and Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Lead the design, development, and implementation of sophisticated analytics systems. Lead analytic projects involving Data Analysts, Business Users, I/T, and 3rd party resources as required. Work closely with stakeholders to understand their needs and translate them into system and modeling requirements. Understand data requirements, data sources, and proper structures to support development of analytics in a full life-cycle environment. Develop and implement analytical and predictive models to help discover various breakthrough opportunities from internal and external data and content sources. Support the creation of meaningful, digestible data visualizations to share findings, trends, and opportunities. Work closely with the Analytics Center of Excellence to implement best practices for analytics systems development. Ensure analytics systems are compliant with company policies, and the analytics and metadata catalog is maintained, organized, and meaningful. Provide or arrange training and knowledge transfer sessions with FP&A, Finance, and other Perdue analytics users to ensure an efficient and qualified user base in the use of Perdue Analytic tools, data models, and meta data. Prepare and present regular reports to senior management on the progress and status of analytics projects and systems. Remote work permitted with quarterly domestic travel to corporate office required.
Minimum Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Engineering or related field of study and ten (10) years of experience as a Project Lead, Analytics Lead, SAP Technical Manager, Consultant or related role where required experience gained.
Experience Requirements
Also requires ten (10) years of experience in the following:
- Various data warehousing concepts including enterprise data, data staging, data transformation, and multidimensionality;
- SAP S/4 HANA FI module integration with other SAP business processes including: SD – Sales & Distribution, MM – Materials Management, CO – Product costing, PP – Production Planning, QM – Quality Management;
- Building, implementing, supporting, and achieving user adoption of analytics and analytics applications;
- Alteryx, Dataiku or similar ETL tools;
- Microsoft Office Suite including creation of Excel spreadsheets and MS PowerPoint presentations;
- Project planning including creation of resourced project schedules with understanding of critical path planning;
- General transactional ERP datasources;
- Systems solution and analytics and reporting skills;
- Business and technical leadership and facilitation skills; and
- Finance and accounting processes for manufacturing companies.
