Summary

The Brand Manager for Value-Added Products within the Perdue NAE (No Antibiotics Ever) Tier is responsible for managing and growing the portfolio of enhanced and convenience-focused NAE offerings. This role requires a keen understanding of consumer demand for innovative and easy-to-prepare solutions, driving market presence and profitability for this dynamic segment.

The salary range for this position is $84,000 - $126,000 per year, based on experience and qualifications with annual bonus available (variable depending on performance).

Principal and Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Lead the day-to-day brand management of Perdue's NAE value-added product portfolio. Develop and implement marketing plans, including product launches, promotional strategies, and communications, to drive growth and expand market share.
  • Conduct thorough analysis of market trends, consumer preferences, and competitive landscape in the value-added poultry segment. Identify white space opportunities and consumer needs for new or improved products
  • Collaborate with R&D and Supply Chain to ensure the quality strategy and innovation pipeline for NAE products meet consumer expectations and reinforce premium positioning.
  • Monitor and analyze the financial performance of value-added NAE products, including sales, margins, and marketing spend. Identify opportunities for pricing and promotional optimization.
  • Serve as a key liaison between marketing and sales, R&D, supply chain, and operations teams to ensure smooth execution of product initiatives and marketing programs.
  • Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) for value-added NAE products, providing insights and recommendations for strategic adjustments.
  • Support the development of channel-specific strategies for value-added products, ensuring optimal placement and promotional activities.

Education and Experience Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field. Our ideal candidate will have/be: 

  • 5+ years of brand management experience, preferably within the food or CPG industry, with exposure to new product development or value-added categories.
  • Demonstrated ability to contribute to and execute marketing plans effectively.
  • Strong analytical skills, capable of interpreting sales data and market research.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and project management skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.
  • Proactive, creative problem-solver with a strong attention to detail.

Environmental Factors and Physical Requirements

Position is office based with travel to Perdue sites, customer and store visits.
