Summary
We are looking for a Contract Talent Acquisition Sourer to join our talent acquisition team and help drive the first stage of our recruiting process. The Talent Sourcer is responsible for both identifying and recruiting talent for Perdue Farms. We are looking for someone who can be a strategic outside of the box thinker exploring various channels looking for potential top talent, contacting passive candidates, building pipelines for future hiring needs, and collaborating with the recruiters to find top talent. Ultimately, they will proactively identify our hiring needs and help us fill our Corporate, Technical, Production and hard to fill vacancies with qualified employees.
Principal and Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Coordinate with hiring managers and recruiters to determine position requirements
- Utilize various sourcing tools to connect with potential candidates on job boards, professional networks, social media, etc.
- Identify qualified candidate profiles using various sourcing techniques (e.g., Boolean search)
- Build and maintain talent pipelines for future hiring needs
- Track and measure conversion rates, including numbers of passive candidates who turn into applicants, are invited to interview, receive offers and are hired
- Promote our employer brand online and offline
- Maintain candidate databases as needed (e.g., via our Applicant Tracking System)
- Communicate with past applicants regarding new job opportunities
- Ensure a positive candidate experience throughout the sourcing and initial contact process
- Support the Talent Acquisition leaders in strategic hiring initiatives as needed
Minimum Education and Experience
Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business, Communication or related field of study, or relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
The Ideal Candidate will also have:
- At least 2+ years of proven work experience as a Sourcer, Recruiter or similar role
- Demonstrated experience with sourcing techniques and popular and niche job boards
- Familiarity with HR databases, Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and Candidate Management Systems
- Solid verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to positively present our company and open roles to potential candidates
- Effective time-management and ability to prioritize competing demands
Environmental Factors and Physical Requirements
Position is mostly sedentary but may require occasional moving to other offices or buildings. May need to move light equipment or supplies from one place to another. May need to access files, supplies and equipment.When in a plant environment: Exposure primarily consists of wet and moist floors which include metal and plastic grating surfaces.May be exposed to temperatures of 28 degrees to 100 degrees Fahrenheit with both ambient and 100% humidity. May handle product 25 degrees to 50 degrees Fahrenheit. May be exposed to noise ranges of 50 db. to 110 db.May be exposed to all chemicals used in poultry, food, processing facility.Must wear and use protective and safety equipment required for the job as directed by the Company. May need to climb ladders.
