Summary
The Executive Assistant to the Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) provides high-level administrative support to the CHRO and plays a critical role in ensuring the smooth functioning of the Human Resources leadership team and function as a whole. This individual will manage complex calendars, coordinate internal and external communications, handle confidential information, and support special and other projects and initiatives across the HR organization. This role may also provide administrative support to other C-Suite leaders as assigned.
The pay range for this position is $36.80 - $55.20 per hour, based on experience and qualifications with annual bonus available (variable depending on performance). Overtime may be available.

Principal and Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Calendar & Schedule Management:
- Proactively manage the CHRO’s calendar, including scheduling meetings, resolving scheduling conflicts, and prioritizing time.
- Coordinate internal and external meetings, including off-site events, board-member meetings, leadership team sessions, etc.
- Communication & Correspondence:
- Serve as a primary point of contact for internal and external communications on behalf of the CHRO.
- Draft, proofread, and edit emails, presentations, reports, and other correspondence.
- Manage sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
- Meeting Coordination & Logistics:
- Prepare agendas, take meeting minutes, and track follow-ups for key leadership meetings.
- Arrange logistics for in-person and virtual meetings, including technology setup, catering, and travel coordination.
- May assist other C-suite administrative staff in coordination and preparation for large scale off-site meetings (board meetings, leadership meetings, etc.)
- Project & Initiative Support:
- Support HR and other projects/strategic initiatives through research, coordination, and tracking deliverables.
- Collaborate with other administrative staff and departments to ensure smooth execution of company-wide HR programs.
- Travel & Expense Management:
- Arrange complex travel itineraries and accommodations.
- Process and track travel and expense reports in compliance with company policy.
- Administrative Support:
- Maintain and organize key files and documents.
- Handle invoice processing, vendor communications, and budget tracking for the CHRO’s office.
Minimum Education and Experience
Bachelors Degree preferred, or relevant equivalent experience, and 5+ years of experience as an Executive Assistant, with at least two years supporting C-suite executives, preferably in Human Resources or other corporate functions. The candidate must have at least 10 years of experience in overall administration support.

- Demonstrated Event Management and Large Scale Meeting planning experience
- High level of demonstrated proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint), collaboration tools (e.g., Zoom, Teams) and Social Media forums.
- Ability to work occasional overtime or have availability after hours during peak periods, off-site meeting support and/or urgent matters if needed.
Experience Preferred
- Familiarity with HR functions and terminology.
- Proactive, resourceful, and able to work independently, strong problem solving skills.
- Adaptable in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Team player, positive, strong work ethic, willing to go the “extra mile” when needed
Environmental Factors and Physical Requirements
Position is office based with travel to customer sites, store locations and other Perdue facilities.
