Summary
Keep feed mill operations running efficiently by ensuring the right ingredients are in the right place at the right time. As a Feed Ingredient Coordinator, you will manage ingredient inventory levels, coordinate inbound deliveries, and partner with suppliers, transportation providers, and internal teams to maintain a reliable supply chain. You will also support freight payment processing, supplier compliance, and feed mill documentation to help drive operational excellence. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented, organized professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys solving logistical challenges, and takes pride in keeping critical operations running smoothly.
The salary range for this position is $60,000 - $90,000 per year, based on experience and qualifications with annual bonus available (variable depending on performance).

Principal Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Manage and communicate ingredient inventory levels across feed mill locations, proactively identifying and addressing discrepancies to ensure accuracy and availability.
- Schedule inbound ingredient deliveries to Perdue feed mills, balancing vendor availability, logistical constraints, and operational priorities.
- Serve as the key point of contact for suppliers, ensuring timely and efficient execution of delivery schedules.
- Review, validate, and approve freight-related invoices and payments in the Direct Stamp Approval System.
- Enter load data into the transportation dispatch system.
- Administer and manage Supplier Survey Forms for the Process Verified Program, ensuring supplier compliance with corporate and regulatory standards.
- Manage, maintain, and update feed mill profile documentation, ensuring accurate representation of mill capabilities.
Minimum Education and Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 1-5 years of customer service experience in the poultry industry or a similar industry or field.
- Understanding of standard software applications, including Microsoft Office.
- Strong math, communication, organizational, and analytical skills.
Preferred Education and Experience
- Understanding of poultry and/or agriculture.
Physical Requirements and Environmental Factors
- Able to communicate by telephone and use standard office equipment.
- Able to move freely throughout the facility, including climbing vertical heights (0-50 feet).
- Able to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Able to work in environments with extreme temperatures (0-100°F), humidity (0-100%), noise levels (50-100 dB), and exposure to chemicals (Safety Data Sheets available).
