Summary
Perdue AgriBusiness has an excitingopportunity for a Industrial Reliability Technicianat our facility located in Salisbury, MD, supporting maintenance to improve on the efficiency of production assets by performing predictive maintenance measurements and monitoring on critical assets. Assist other predictive maintenance activities and repairs where needed
This position has a target wage of $25.20 - $37.80 per hour, based on shift, experience and qualifications with annual bonus available (variable depending on performance). Overtime may be available.

Principal and Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Assist with vibration testing to support existing program
- Assist with ultrasonic testing to support a program that is currently under development
- Assist with coupling alignment and high-speed rotating assembly balancing
- Assist onsite maintenance personnel during planned and unplanned plant outages and major repairs
- Provide additional support to maintenance team during high volume or critical activities
- Willingness to attend training both on the job and in classroom setting to support Vibration and Ultrasonic programs
Minimum Education
- High School Diploma/GED
Experience Requirements
- 5+ years of Industrial Maintenance (Mechanical or Electrical)
- Vibration Analyst level I or Ultrasound Analyst level I or Industrial Infrared Analyst Qualification
- Strong reading, writing, math and analytical skills
- Strong organizational skills
- Strong understanding of best practices for maintenance activities
- Computer skills
Environmental Factors and Physical Requirements
Must be able to move throughout assigned areas of responsibility carrying required equipment and tools to perform trouble shooting procedures, repairs and preventative maintenance. Must be able to reach vertical heights up to 150' to perform repairs, preventative maintenance and monitor equipment both open and in confined spaces. Must be able to work outside in all seasonal weather, stand for 8 to 14 hours. Exposure to air born dust, chemicals, such as hexane, caustic sode, butanone, ethanol and aluminum chloride. When in a plant environment: Exposure primarily consists of wet and moist floors which include metal and plastic grating surfaces.May be exposed to temperatures of 28 degrees to 100 degrees Fahrenheit with both ambient and 100% humidity. May handle product 25 degrees to 50 degrees Fahrenheit. May be exposed to noise ranges of 50 db. to 110 db.May be exposed to all chemicals used in poultry, food, processing facility.Must wear and use protective and safety equipment required for the job as directed by the Company. May need to climb ladders.
