Build a controlled, compliant, and scalable procurement environment as our Procurement Policy and Process Manager. You will define and maintain enterprise procurement policies, standards, and end-to-end processes that are practical, adopted, and continuously improved. Partnering across Finance, Legal, Operations, and Procurement teams, you’ll reduce risk, boost compliance, and enable consistent, efficient execution, ideal for a detail-oriented leader who drives governance, clarity, and measurable process improvements in a fast-paced enterprise. 

The salary range for this position is $89,000 - $133,000 per year, based on experience and qualifications with annual bonus available (variable depending on performance).

Principal Essential Duties & Responsibilities 

  • Develop and maintain enterprise procurement policies, SOPs, and standards. 

  • Define approval thresholds, controls, and governance requirements. 

  • Ensure policies are practical, scalable, and business-aligned. 

  • Act as the primary authority for policy interpretation, issue resolution, and exception guidance. 

  • Design end-to-end procurement processes –from category strategy, strategic sourcing, contracting, supplier management, risk management to purchase order management. 

  • Identify pain points and inefficiencies and lead process improvements. 

  • Standardize workflows to reduce variation and risk. 

  • Own remediation plans for policy and audit findings, partnering with Internal Audit and Finance to close gaps. 

  • Track and report compliance performance metrics and trends to Procurement leadership. 

  • Partner with Internal Audit, Legal, and Finance on control requirements. 

  • Develop training, job aids, and guidance to support policy and process adoption. 

  • Partner with Procurement Transformation Lead on enterprise-wide policy or process rollout and continuous improvement. 

  • Educate stakeholders on procurement requirements and expectations. 

  • Ensure policies are embedded into tools and daily ways of working. 

  • Collaborate with Digital and Transformation leads to embed policies into system design. 

  • Partner to build non-compliance reports or dashboards. 

  • Ensure new tools and processes comply with governance standards. 

  • Support change initiatives by aligning policy evolution with transformation goals. 

Minimum Education and Experience 

Bachelors Degree and 6–8 years of experience in procurement governance, policy, or process excellence, including experience leading teams or workstreams and influencing senior stakeholders. 

The ideal candidate will also have

  • A demonstrated experience creating SOPs/standards and implementing compliance routines that stick. 

  • Experience partnering across functions to drive enterprise-wide adoption and controls. 

  • Strong knowledge of procurement governance, policy, and compliance best practices. 

  • Process design and documentation experience (standard work, SOPs, controls, RACI). 

  • Train and enablement capability; strong stakeholder communication. 

  • Practical problem-solving: ability to simplify and standardize complex workflows. 

  • Ability to lead change adoption efforts beyond creating documents. 

Physical Requirements and Environmental Factors 

  • Position is mostly sedentary but may require occasional moving to other offices or buildings. 

  • May need to move light equipment or supplies from one place to another. 

  • May need to access files, supplies and equipment. 

  • Work activity is in an office, open-partitioned, cubicle environment.
