Summary
Drive people strategy and operational excellence across our live poultry operations. As the Regional Human Resources Manager of Live, you’ll be a strategic HR partner to breeder farms, hatcheries, feed mills, grow-out sites, and live haul teams, designing and delivering HR solutions that enable safe, efficient production. You’ll lead workforce planning, talent acquisition, employee relations, performance management, and compliance while coaching leaders to build high-performing teams. You’ll champion a culture of safety, respect, accountability, and continuous improvement that supports both employee engagement and animal welfare. This role is ideal for a hands-on, relationship-driven HR leader who thrives in a fast-paced, operational environment.
The salary range for this position is $111,000 - $133,000 per year, based on experience and qualifications with annual bonus available (variable depending on performance).

Principal Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary human resources business partner for live production operations and leadership teams, providing strategic and operational human resources support aligned with business objectives.
- Provide guidance and support on employee relations matters, including conflict resolution, workplace concerns, investigations, and corrective actions.
- Partner with hiring managers to support recruitment and selection efforts, ensuring timely staffing of live production and operational roles.
- Coordinate onboarding, orientation, and workforce scheduling support to ensure seamless integration of new hires into live production operations.
- Conduct thorough and impartial investigations into employee complaints, workplace incidents, and policy violations, ensuring compliance with company policies and applicable laws.
- Advise leaders on performance management, including coaching, disciplinary actions, and development of performance improvement plans.
- Support employee engagement initiatives, retention strategies, and workforce morale across live production operations.
- Maintain and administer human resources policies, procedures, and practices specific to live production and operational environments.
- Partner with safety and operations teams to support OSHA, workplace safety, and production safety compliance initiatives.
- Manage human resources documentation, personnel records, and reporting requirements in accordance with legal, regulatory, and company standards.
- Coordinate and support performance review processes, leadership development initiatives, and management coaching.
- Identify training and development needs for production teams and operational leadership to support performance, compliance, and career development.
- Provide support for labor budgeting, workforce planning, and labor forecasting related to live production events.
Minimum Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Leadership, or a related field.
- 5-8 years of progressive human resources experience with responsibility for employee relations, performance management, compliance, and workforce planning.
- Knowledge of employment laws and regulations including FLSA, FMLA, ADA, OSHA, and applicable state labor laws.
- Experience supporting workplace safety programs in collaboration with safety and operations leadership.
- Strong analytical, organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence across all levels of the organization.
- Demonstrated adaptability, judgment, and professionalism in fast‑changing, deadline‑driven environments.
Preferred Education and Experience
- Master’s degree.
- Professional human resources certification such as PHR, SPHR, SHRM‑CP, or SHRM‑SCP.
- Experience supporting live production, manufacturing, operations, or other fast‑paced, scheduled-driven environments.
Physical Requirements and Environmental Factors
- Position is mostly sedentary but may require occasional moving to other offices or buildings.
- May need to move light equipment or supplies from one place to another.
- May need to access files, supplies and equipment.
- Work activity is in an office, open-partitioned, cubicle environment.
