Summary
Drive operational excellence across our Commercial organization by turning data, processes, and partnerships into measurable business results. As a Sales Operations Specialist, you will optimize workflows, strengthen contract governance, and deliver actionable insights that improve sales performance and decision making. You will lead process improvements, ensure data accuracy and compliance, and serve as a trusted cross functional partner connecting Sales, Marketing, Finance, IT, Supply Chain, and external partners. This role is ideal for a detail oriented, solutions focused professional who thrives on collaboration, continuous improvement, and enabling teams to perform at their best.
Principal Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Develop, analyze, and distribute KPI reports for senior leadership using tools such as Power BI.
Validate data accuracy and resolve cross-system discrepancies.
Identify trends and provide insights for leadership decisions.
Lead continuous improvement initiatives across Sales Operations.
Optimize SOPs, workflows, and approval processes.
Improve communication pathways and data governance across teams.
Provide task guidance and workflow direction to administrative resources.
Support onboarding of new sales associates, training coordination and initial system set-up.
Serve as a primary expert for internal stakeholders seeking sales data, performance metrics, and customer information.
Coordinate timely resolution of customer‑facing or internal sales issues requiring data investigation or process alignment.
Prepare executive‑ready presentations, sales summaries, and business reviews.
Manage operational planning for customer visits, sales meetings, conferences, facility tours, and internal events.
Create agendas, track deliverables, and ensure alignment with hospitality and brand standards.
Prepare communication materials and support leadership with meeting execution.
Oversee full lifecycle of customer, broker, and vendor contracts.
Maintain accurate documentation, version control, and compliance standards.
Support audits and contract reviews, recommend workflow improvements.
Maintain sales budgets and track variances.
Support vendor onboarding, PO creation, invoice resolution, and AR deduction resolution.
Assess financial implications of pricing or contract changes.
Lead CRM execution and data capture to support Sales, S&OP, and pricing processes.
Use CRM for communication, broker alignment, analytics, and lead generation.
Minimum Education and Experience
1-3 years of experience in sales operations or commercial support.
Demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities with attention to detail and accuracy.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for cross‑functional collaboration.
Ability to work independently and provide strategic recommendations.
Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and data validation skills.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, strong working knowledge of reporting tools (Power BI).
Preferred Education and Experience
Bachelor’s Degree in Business or related field.
Physical Requirements and Environmental Factors
Position is mostly sedentary but may require occasional moving to other offices or buildings.
May need to move light equipment or supplies from one place to another.
May need to access files, supplies and equipment.
Work activity is in an office, open-partitioned, cubicle environment.
