Summary
Join our team as a Senior Corporate Security Manager! In this role, you will play a critical part in safeguarding our people, operations, products, and services by identifying, assessing, and mitigating security threats across the organization. You’ll lead investigations, implement proactive security solutions, and collaborate with internal teams, external partners, and security contractors to maintain a safe and secure environment. This role also provides leadership continuity, managing corporate security functions in the Director’s absence and helping shape the future of the company’s security strategy.
This is an onsite position at our Corporate Offices in Salisbury, MD.
The salary range for this position is $114,000 - $170,000 per year, based on experience and qualifications with annual bonus available (variable depending on performance).

Principal Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Identify and assess threats relevant to Perdue Workplace Violence (WPV) prevention program; and develop/implement mitigation strategies.
- Provide direct support, guidance, and training to business units leaders, key stakeholders, and associates where applicable in the management of significant threats to their safety.
- Align and leverage Legal, HR, and IT to drive comprehensive investigations into physical/ personnel security incidents, including evidence collection, analysis, and preparation of detailed investigative reports with actionable recommendations.
- Support talent protection and care programs in alignment with our threat management strategy.
- Liaise with law enforcement agencies, legal counsel, human resources, and other relevant entities during investigations and threat incidents.
- Manage external threat management partnerships and develop our security technology source portfolio and technical continuous improvement projects.
- Oversee the Site and Business Unit Threat Management Teams (TMT’s) in support of the WPV Program and their advancement within the Company security infrastructure.
- Propose changes to existing policies and procedures to ensure security operating efficiency and regulatory compliance.
- Estimated overnight travel may be up to 30%.
Minimum Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice, Criminology, Business Administration, Political Science, Psychology, Law, or related field.
- Minimum 8 years relevant security intelligence experience in the private sector; must have had a focus on threat management and experience leading the deployment and use of security-related technologies and project management to achieve physical security goals.
- Experience working with global threat management teams, law enforcement, and other external agencies.
- Strong experience with security metrics and measurements and an understanding of using metrics to improve processes and practices to reduce risk. Advanced knowledge of open-source, social media, public records search techniques, and intelligence tools/software for threat monitoring and investigations.
- Proficiency with threat assessment tools and structured professional judgment guides for targeted workplace violence risk evaluation.
- Strong investigative skills with a proven ability to conduct thorough, unbiased investigations.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present findings clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Ability to work effectively in high-pressure environments and manage multiple priorities.
- Strong interpersonal skills, ethical standards, and discretion, with the ability to handle sensitive information with utmost confidentiality.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office products including Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Must have good reading and writing skills. Requires good presentation skills. (Presentations are required for senior management).
Preferred Education and Experience
- Current certification as a Certified Threat Manager (CTM), Certified Physical Security Professional (PSP), or Certified Protection Professional (CPP).
- Ideal candidate will have 10+ years’ experience in the private sector.
Physical Requirements and Environmental Factors
- Position is mostly sedentary but may require occasional moving to other offices or buildings.
- May need to move light equipment or supplies from one place to another.
- May need to access files, supplies and equipment.
