Summary

The Senior Manager Labor Optimization is responsible for building a methodology and adoptable approach to oversee workforce schedule and optimization for sites across the Foods manufacturing network. 

This may be an onsite role at our Corporate offices in Salisbury, MD with relocation available for qualified candidates or be remote for candidates living within three hours driving distance of those Corporate Offices. 

The salary range for this position is $111,000.00 - $167,000.00 per year, based on experience and qualifications with annual bonus available (variable depending on performance).

Principal and Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Lead labor optimization scheduling strategy and execution across multiple manufacturing sites
  • Partner with plant leadership to improve workforce utilization, scheduling, and productivity
  • Drive successful implementation and adoption of labor-related systems and processes
  • Ensure measurable improvements in labor efficiency, operational performance, and cost control
  • Provide ongoing reporting and insights to senior leaders
  • Success in this role will be demonstrated through reduced labor inefficiencies, improved staffing alignment, smooth system adoption, and strong collaboration with operations teams.

Minimum Education and Experience

  • Remote role; candidate must live within three hours driving distance of Corporate Offices in Salisbury, MD
  • Up to 50 percent travel required, especially in the first 18 months (plant locations and Corporate Offices)
  • Senior Manager–level experience with at least 10 years’ experience in project management in a manufacturing environment
  • Strong background leading labor optimization initiatives and/or large-scale workforce system implementations (UKG experience preferred)
  • Extensive manufacturing experience required
  • Bachelor’s degree required  Business, Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain, or a related field
