Summary
The Senior Brand Manager for the Perdue Organic Ready-to-Cook team is responsible for the strategic development, marketing execution, and overall growth of Perdue's organic poultry products. This role requires a strong understanding of the organic consumer, market trends, and the ability to leverage consumer insights to drive brand performance and maintain Perdue's leadership in the organic segment.
The salary range for this position is $111,000 - $167,000 per year, based on experience and qualifications with annual bonus available (variable depending on performance).

Principal and Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive marketing plans and strategies for the Perdue Organic team, aligning with the overall Perdue Masterbrand and RTC objectives. Define organic-specific positioning, messaging, and consumer engagement strategies.
- Conduct in-depth analysis of the organic food market, consumer behavior, and competitive landscape. Utilize data and insights to identify growth opportunities, inform product improvements, and optimize marketing activities.
- Brand Positioning & Messaging:
- Target Audience: Deeply understand the values, motivations, and purchasing habits of the organic consumer, highlighting the specific benefits of Perdue organic products.
- Differentiation: Clearly communicate the unique features and attributes of Perdue Organic, emphasizing certification, quality, and commitment to sustainable practices.
- Quality & Innovation: Collaborate with R&D and Supply Chain to ensure the quality strategy and innovation pipeline for Organic products meet consumer expectations and reinforce premium positioning.
- Collaborate with R&D, Supply Chain, and the Senior Director of Disruptive Innovations on product innovation, renovation, and commercialization within the organic portfolio, ensuring offerings meet market needs and brand standards.
- Monitor and analyze the financial performance of the Organic tier, Drive proactive management of P&L management by optimizing pricing, promotional activities, and cost structures to achieve profitability targets.
- Track key performance indicators (KPIs) for the Organic tier, including sales, market share, brand awareness, and consumer sentiment. Provide regular reports and actionable recommendations.
Experience Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 7+ years of brand management experience within the food or CPG industry, with direct experience in or a strong understanding of the organic market preferred.
- Proven ability to develop and execute effective marketing plans that drive brand growth.
- Strong analytical skills, capable of interpreting market data and consumer insights to inform strategy.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and project management skills.
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Experience with P&L drivers and financial analysis.
- Prior experience managing or mentoring junior team members is a plus
Environmental Factors and Physical Requirements
Position is office based with travel to customer sites, store locations and other Perdue facilities.
