Summary

Support operational excellence and critical plant functions in a fast-paced, production-focused environment. As a Specialty Crops Clerk, you will play a key role in ensuring accurate reporting, seamless data tracking, and efficient administrative support for the soybean processing plant. You will partner closely with plant leadership, production teams, and customers to maintain clear communication, coordinate shipping and materials, and help keep operations running smoothly and safely while contributing to overall plant performance and customer satisfaction. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented, organized professional who thrives in a hands-on environment, enjoys working with data and processes, and takes pride in supporting both operational success and team collaboration.

Principal Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Create, update and distribute daily and monthly production reports.
  • Input, update and assist in required data tracking for safety (RCI) and production processes.
  • Prepare request forms, shipping instructions and shipping for samples and other items.
  • Provide customer support.
  • Assist in ordering and receiving materials as needed for production.
  • Compile, distribute and file all incoming analysis sheets.
  • Perform all work within the safety guidelines established by local, state and federal agencies as well as company policies.
  • Assist in Process Safety Management activities and training.
  • Assist in Perdue safety activities and training.
  • Assist in GMP+ activities and training.
  • Perform other task as assigned.

Minimum Education and Experience

  • High School Graduate or GED.

Preferred Education and Experience

  • Further education.
  • 1-3 years related experience.

Physical Requirements and Environmental Factors

  • Able to communicate on the telephone and use standard office equipment.
  • Able to move freely throughout the facility.
  • Able to move freely throughout the Agribusiness facilities to include climbing vertical heights (0 - 150'), able to lift (0-50 pounds), exposure to extreme temperatures (0-100 Degrees Fahrenheit), humidity, (0 - 100%), noise (50db to 100db) and chemicals (MSDS sheets available.
