Summary
The overall purpose of this position is to work directly with The HR Recruitment team in accomplishing Daily and Weekly hiring goals. Be able to cross train in different aspects of the Human Resources department and conduct orientation. Schedule is normally 8am - 5pm, Monday to Friday. Overtime/ Saturday's scheduled as needed.
Principal and Essential Duties & Responsibilities
1. Participate / Conduct new hire orientation in various languages.
2. Conduct Safety Presentations when needed.
3. Meet / Greet visitors in the lobby.
4. Assist with benefits meetings.
5. Provide assistance with translation.
6. Document daily call outs on call in log.
7.Interview applicants, schedule applicants, conduct interviews, prepare / extend offers, etc.
8.Complete necessary system training to include: Success Factors, ADP, DNA, etc.
9. Prepare / create IDs for associates.
10. Keep up with the documentation, scanning, and filing of office paperwork.
Minimum Education
High School or equivalent not required but beneficial.
Experience Requirements
Have a minimum of 6 months of consecutive work history with one employer within the past 3 years in a relatable field/ capacity.
Experience Preferred
Experience in poultry processing/manufacturing environment preferred. Bilingual in Creole or Spanish preferred.
Environmental Factors and Physical Requirements
Work in temperatures ranging from 35 to 78 degrees Fahrenheit, with ambient humidity, at a specified rate work up to two hours in a single interval, with a normal maximum of 6 hours per shift. Ability to remain stationary on a stand and ability to lift up to 40 lbs. Exposure to wet surfaces and chlorinated water less than 20 ppm. Must wear personal protective equipment.
