Summary
Support efficient, high quality HR operations by ensuring processes run smoothly, accurately, and in compliance with company standards. As a Corporate Human Resources Administrator, you will provide essential administrative and technical support across a wide range of HR functions including onboarding, employee records management, HRIS administration, benefits coordination, and compliance reporting. You will play a key role in maintaining accurate data, supporting associates, and helping deliver a consistent and positive employee experience. This role is ideal for a detail oriented, organized professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys supporting people, systems, and processes that keep HR operations running effectively.
This is an onsite position at our Corporate Offices in Salisbury, Maryland.
This position has a target wage of $20.80 - $31.30 per hour, based on shift, experience and qualifications with annual bonus available (variable depending on performance). Overtime may be available.

Principal Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records (electronic and paper files).
- Process employee changes, new hire paperwork, terminations, and status updates.
- Support HRIS data entry, audits, and system maintenance.
- Assist in preparing HR reports, statistics, and documentation as requested from various HR Leaders.
- Perform data entry and records management such as employee verifications, LOAs, and position requests.
- Review, process, and ensure timely payment of vendor invoices.
- Maintain records for associate badges and manage employee access.
- Support onboarding activities for all Corporate new hires in conjunction with the respective HR Managers.
- Ensure compliance with I-9 verification, E-Verify, and required documentation. This includes receipt, review, and potential re-distribution of immigration correspondence with local HR offices. Will also support the Assistant HR Manager in monthly and quarterly audits.
- Coordinating equipment orders and general supplies for the HR team.
- Serve as a first point of contact for employee questions regarding HR policies, procedures, payroll, and benefits.
- Support communications related to employee programs, policy updates, and HR initiatives.
- Supports Associate Engagement and Inclusion Initiatives. Updates AE&I SharePoint site and shared calendar.
- Prepares company distribution of the Engagement Newsletter featuring a calendar, Inclusion Council information, and Associate Resource Group (ARG) news.
- Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with professionalism and discretion.
- Ensures new hire benefit enrollments are communicated and elected as needed.
- Point of contact for benefit changes and employee inquiries.
- Execute open enrollment communication and documentation to support Operations and Corporate functions.
- Coordinates leave of absences (STD, FMLA, ADA Accommodations, etc.)
- Support audits, reporting requirements, and compliance initiatives as needed.
- Receipt, review, and re-distribution of all unemployment claims received from TALX. This includes identifying the location the associate worked and scanning or emailing the documentation from TALX to ensure timely compliance with unemployment inquiries.
- Assist in maintaining and updating HR policies.
Minimum Education and Experience
- Associate or bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
- 3-5 years of HR or administrative experience in a professional environment, or bachelor’s degree with internship and 0-2 years of experience in an office environment.
- Experience with HRIS systems and standard office software (Microsoft Office, Google Workspace).
Physical Requirements and Environmental Factors
- Position is mostly sedentary but may require occasional moving to other offices or buildings.
- May need to move light equipment or supplies from one place to another.
- May need to access files, supplies, and equipment.
- Work activity is in an office, open-partitioned, cubicle environment.
