Summary

We are looking for a PAB Systems Support Specialist to support our Master Data initiatives within PAB IT as well as to learn and support other Commodity Trading and Risk Management (CTRM), logistics and miscellaneous applications. This position will collaborate both within PAB IT and the business to support current and future Master Data and other applications.

This position has a target wage of  $24.00 - $36.00  per hour, based on shift, experience and qualifications with annual bonus available (variable depending on performance). Overtime may be available.

This position is based at corporate headquarters in Salisbury, MD.

Principal and Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Ensure quality of master data in key systems.
  • Assist the Applications Project Lead and department manager by making independent decisions for resolving data quality problems through the appropriate choice of error detection and correction, process control and improvements, or process design strategies collaborating with subject matter experts (SME’s) and data stewards.
  • Experience with Commodity Trading and Risk Management (CTRM) systems is preferred.
  • Learn end to end business processes and the Agtech system for project and future support.
  • Acquire knowledge of existing applications within PAB for troubleshooting and user questions to become an asset to the user community (CTRM applications, etc.)
  • Demonstrate skills necessary to support master data initiatives and Agtech support.
  • Defect documentation, testing, and implementation.
  • Document technical issues, track progress, and create reports on system performance issues, updates and resolutions.
  • Security request for specific role permissions in AgTech.

Minimum Education

Associate degree or equivalent combination of education and experience. 

Experience Requirements

  • 6+ months experience in Information Science, data management, computer science or related field preferred.
  • Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills
  • Ability to exercise sound judgment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office including SharePoint
  • Strong interpersonal and project management skills.

  • Position is mostly sedentary but may require occasional moving to other offices or buildings.
  • May need to move light equipment or supplies from one place to another.
  • May need to access files, supplies and equipment.
  • Work activity is in an office, open-partitioned, cubical environment.
  • May require on call or off hours for projects or break-fix issues.
