Summary

Perdue Farms is seeking a highly organized, proactive, and people-focused Lead Recruiting Coordinator to join our Talent Acquisition team. This role is unique in that it blends individual recruiting coordination responsibilities with team leadership and oversight. The Lead Recruiting Coordinator will manage their own set of candidate logistics while also guiding the Recruiting Coordinator (RC) team, ensuring consistency, efficiency, and excellence in all coordination processes.

This position can be based in Salisbury, MD at Corporate HQ or remote based (East Coast preferred).

The salary range for this position is $63,000 - $95,000 per year, based on experience and qualifications with annual bonus available (variable depending on performance).

Principal and Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Manage end-to-end scheduling and candidate coordination for your assigned requisitions.
  • Serve as the first point of contact for the RC team, providing guidance, support, and training.
  • Oversee RC workflows to ensure interview scheduling, candidate communication, and onboarding activities are completed accurately and on time.
  • Partner with recruiters and hiring managers to address coordination challenges and streamline processes.
  • Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and standardize processes across the RC team.
  • Provide feedback and coaching to Recruiting Coordinators, supporting their professional development.
  • Act as a liaison between the RC team and Talent Acquisition leadership, escalating issues when necessary.
  • Support special projects and system/process rollouts impacting coordination and candidate experience.

Minimum Education and Experience

Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business, Communication, related field of study or equivalent work experience, and 3+ years of recruiting coordination or HR support experience, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or management role.

The Ideal Candidate will also have:

  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to balance personal workload with team leadership responsibilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a collaborative and team-focused approach.
  • Proven ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience with applicant tracking systems, SuccessFactors, strongly preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive process improvement and uphold a high standard of service delivery.

Environmental Factors and Physical Requirements

Position is office based in an open cubicle environment or home/remote based.
