Summary

We are recruiting for a Master Data Multi-Domain Manager - Projects to manage Master Data project implementations for SAP and adhoc systems within multiple domains: Customer, Material, Production, Finance and Vendor Master data. Plan, execute and manage workstream processes and master relationship data relevant to projects within the organization. Collaborate with MD department managers and cross team leads for support of Commercial, Supply Chain, Finance and Governance initiatives.

Ensure project deliverables are implemented on time with maximum accuracy and prevent process breakdown risk.  Monitor and analyze process improvement and policy adherence. This position will serve as a MD business lead for the above functional areas for small and medium scale implementations.

This is an onsite position at our Corporate Offices in Salisbury, Maryland.

The salary range for this position is $97,000 - $145,000  per year, based on experience and qualifications with annual bonus available (variable depending on performance).

Principal and Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Ensures master data is consistent in key systems as well as managing the processes to support the data quality for Material, Finance Vendor, Customer and location data at the enterprise level. Plans, executes and manages business initiatives involving all foundational master data. Identifies areas for data quality improvements and helps to resolve data quality problems through the appropriate choice of error detection and correction, process control and improvement, or process design strategies. Manage Stakeholders expectations across multiple functional areas.
  • Ensures quality of master data in key systems, as well as, development and documentation of processes with other functional data owners to support ongoing maintenance and data integrity. Collaborates with directors, managers and subject matter experts and data stewards to assists in design and implementation of data strategy, policies, controls, and programs to ensure the enterprise data is accurate, complete, secure, and reliable.
  • Managing, analyzing, and resolving data initiative issues with close direction of Director to best meet internal and customer requirements while adhering to published data standards.
  • Provides assistance to Director and makes independent decisions for data harmonization and resolving data quality problems through the appropriate choice of error detection and correction, process control and improvement, or process design strategies collaborating with subject matter experts (SMEs) and data stewards.
  • Work closely with the business/IT to ensure alignment of master data rules and the operations of the application meet all requirements.
  • Provides direct business support for IT roadmap projects relevant to Order to Cash, Vendor Master, Finance Master Data, Material Master Data and Customer Master data.

Minimum Education

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Information Science, Data Management, Computer Science or related field required; 10 years of experience would be considered in lieu of Education.

Experience Requirements

3 – 5 years of experience within SAP Master Data domains (SAP ECC6 or S4 Hana preferred).

Environmental Factors and Physical Requirements

  • Position is mostly sedentary but may require occasional moving to other offices or buildings.
  • May need to move light equipment or supplies from one place to another.
  • May need to access files, supplies and equipment.
  • Work activity is in an office, open-partitioned, cubicle environment.
  • May require on call or off hours for projects or break-fix issues.
