Lead high impact initiatives that drive transformation and deliver measurable value across the business. As a Senior Project Manager in the Transformation Office, you will guide complex projects across Supply Chain and Commercial functions, partnering with cross functional teams to improve processes, implement solutions, and achieve strategic objectives. You will manage projects from concept through execution, balancing scope, timelines, budgets, and stakeholder alignment while ensuring strong governance and clear communication throughout. In this role, you will also support the Project Management Office by maintaining accurate project data, facilitating key meetings, and helping drive visibility across the transformation portfolio. This position is ideal for a strategic, results driven leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys solving complex challenges, and is passionate about driving meaningful change across an organization.

This position is located onsite at our Corporate Offices in Salisbury, MD. Relocation assistance is available for qualified candidates to support a smooth and successful transition. 

The salary range for this position is $111,000 - $167,000 per year, based on experience and qualifications with annual bonus available (variable depending on performance).

Principal Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Work with the business units, plants and Company functional groups to fully understand functional requirements.
• Lead cross-functional teams to develop effective, efficient solutions which meet the requirements of the business, utilizing project management skills.
• Demonstrate attention to detail and ensure all details of the Transformation Office’s Project Management Methodology are followed to facilitate best in class project execution.
• Define project resource requirements and secure resources. 
• Define project timelines and use project scheduling and tracking tools.
• Build effective working relationships within the Transformation Office, Supply Chain, Commercial, IT, and the business community.
• Demonstrate the mastery of skills necessary to maintain and champion the use and maintenance of the Project Management Office’s project management software. 
• Maximize use of available technology and standard approaches to enhance and improve business processes.
• Demonstrate executive presence, organizational and leadership skills, and is comfortable facilitating meeting with 10+ senior level leaders on a regular basis.
• Support Perdue strategy, challenges status quo, focus on continuous improvement and support of business objectives, acts like an owner and executes with urgency.

Minimum Education and Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent related work experience in Business Management, Marketing, Sales, Supply Chain, Finance or related field, plus 7+ years related work experience.
• Proven record of successful Project Management on large scale projects with multiple teams.
• Proven record of delivering strong project execution in a fast-moving, dynamic environment with hard deadlines.
• Proven record of managing multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
• Demonstrates strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrates executive presence and leadership skills.
• Knowledge and experience using project management tools/practices, work process analysis, improvement processes, and systems development methodology.
• Experience working for large organizations and demonstrated organizational awareness.
• Process orientated: Experience with creating process maps, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and similar documents.
• Must be able to travel (currently estimated at 10%) including overnight, to any customer area, which could be any Company facility, Customer facility for project activities, training, or a conference.
• Requires potential on call, off hours, or weekend work as project schedules may require.

Preferred Education and Experience

• Master’s degree in business management or similar field.
• Project Management Professional Certification.
• Experience with project management software such as Smartsheet, JIRA, or similar a plus.
• Agile certification.
• Change Management training experience or certification.
• Experience with formal problem-solving methodologies such as Lean Six Sigma training.

Physical Requirements and Environmental Factors

• Positions at Corporate are mostly sedentary but may require occasional moving to other offices or buildings, or support in facilities when they are deployed to a site. 
• Positions in plants involve moving throughout the plants, feed mills, hatcheries and other facilities as needed to deploy, monitor, and support manufacturing systems equipment.
• May need to move light equipment or supplies from one place to another.
• May need to access files, supplies and equipment.
• Work activity is in an office, open-partitioned, cubicle environment.

When in a plant environment:

• Exposure primarily consists of wet and moist floors which include metal and plastic grating surfaces.
• May be exposed to temperatures of 28 degrees to 100 degrees Fahrenheit with both ambient and 100% humidity.
• May handle products from 25 degrees to 50 degrees Fahrenheit.
• May be exposed to noise ranges of 50 db to 110 db.
• May be exposed to all chemicals found in poultry, food and processing plant.
• Must wear and use protective and safety equipment required for the job as directed by the Company.
