Summary
Drive exceptional customer service and operational excellence as a Senior Account Representative. In this role, you will oversee production scheduling, manage custom customer accounts, monitor inventory levels, and balance order fulfillment to ensure products are delivered accurately and on time. You will serve as a key liaison between customers, production teams, and internal partners, providing proactive communication, resolving issues, and managing claims and credits related to plant operations. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented, customer-focused professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys building strong relationships, and excels at coordinating complex processes to deliver outstanding service and business results.
Principal Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Prepare fabrication information for production scheduling and order entry for shipping.
- Communicate essential information with the facility, Production and receiving on inter-company transfers on WIP codes and finished goods.
- Work with cross-functional teams to contribute to profitability, continuity, and reliability of the facility and product.
- Identify and forecast NAE buyback product for Sales Team upselling.
- Rotate Saturday duties with Sales Team when necessary.
- Manage inventory by balancing order fulfillment, inventory dates, and production needs.
- Communicate with Operations and Sales teams on inventory levels, code date issues, shortages, and special production requirements.
Minimum Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- 3-5 years of meat industry experience, scheduling, and managing raw materials and supplies.
- Strong computer skills (Excel, Outlook, etc.).
- Highly motivated self-starter with excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage projects with multiple moving parts.
- Accuracy and deadline orientation.
Preferred Education and Experience
- Bilingual (English/Spanish).
Physical Requirements and Environmental Factors
- Perform mostly sedentary work with occasional movement to other offices or buildings.
- Move light equipment or supplies from one place to another.
- Access files, supplies, and equipment as needed.
- Work in an office, open-partitioned, cubicle environment.
- Be exposed to wet and moist floors, including metal and plastic grating surfaces.
- Be exposed to temperatures ranging from 28°F to 100°F with both ambient and 100% humidity.
- Handle products at 25°F to 50°F.
- Be exposed to noise ranges of 50 db to 110 db.
- Be exposed to chemicals used in pork, food, and processing facilities.
- Wear and use protective and safety equipment as directed by the Company.
